All issues are interlinked. Our Minds cannot be peaceful when attention-spans are down to nanoseconds, microseconds and milliseconds. Our Minds cannot be peaceful if we destroy Nature.

Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment.

Subject : In a fast society slow emotions become extinct.
Subject : A thinking mind cannot feel.
Subject : Scientific/ Industrial/ Financial thinking destroys the planet.
Subject : Environment can never be saved as long as cities exist.

Emotion is what we experience during gaps in our thinking.

If there are no gaps there is no emotion.

Today people are thinking all the time and are mistaking thought (words/ language) for emotion.

When society switches-over from physical work (agriculture) to mental work (scientific/ industrial/ financial/ fast visuals/ fast words ) the speed of thinking keeps on accelerating and the gaps between thinking go on decreasing.

There comes a time when there are almost no gaps.

People become incapable of experiencing/ tolerating gaps.

Emotion ends.

Man becomes machine.

A society that speeds up mentally experiences every mental slowing-down as Depression / Anxiety.

A ( travelling )society that speeds up physically experiences every physical slowing-down as Depression / Anxiety.

A society that entertains itself daily experiences every non-entertaining moment as Depression / Anxiety.

FAST VISUALS /WORDS MAKE SLOW EMOTIONS EXTINCT.

SCIENTIFIC /INDUSTRIAL /FINANCIAL THINKING DESTROYS EMOTIONAL CIRCUITS.

A FAST (LARGE) SOCIETY CANNOT FEEL PAIN / REMORSE / EMPATHY.

A FAST (LARGE) SOCIETY WILL ALWAYS BE CRUEL TO ANIMALS/ TREES/ AIR/ WATER/ LAND AND TO ITSELF.

To read the complete article please follow either of these links :

PlanetSave

EarthNewsWire

sushil_yadavsushil yadavhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00450482168013648799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10239730.post-1155870008267652682006-08-17T23:00:00.000-04:002006-08-17T23:00:00.000-04:00We think we can't fight the giants but in Aesop's ...We think we can't fight the giants but in Aesop's fable it was the little mouse who nibbled on the trap to set the lion free. We just need to be more tenacious and get more people on our side. Greed drives big people nuts, y'know, at the expense of the little people.Algeriahttp://chicagori.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10239730.post-1133865035003421842005-12-06T05:30:00.000-05:002005-12-06T05:30:00.000-05:00I'm just using your blog to inform about a campaig...I'm just using your blog to inform about a campaign against monsanto.

It's a french initiative to associate Crimes contre l'humanité with monsanto in google...

Last week, they seized the bank accounts of a anti-GMO farmers Union in france (Confédération paysanne)Monsantohttp://www.stop-monsanto.qsdf.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10239730.post-1129633289715375732005-10-18T07:01:00.000-04:002005-10-18T07:01:00.000-04:00I've had a reply from OFCOM about my complaint re:...I've had a reply from OFCOM about my complaint re: Scooby-Doo's buried pro-GM issue. For the past few years (and especially this past one), I have been trying quite hard to remove myself and family from these monopolies of food giants. Your plea is not on deaf ears here and I will pass it on!

I think it is unnerving to think we have, in this country, allowed only a few groups to have control of our food. I really don't think many people understand this (just as the 2nd home/SUV drivers don't understand what they are doing to the Blue Ridge Mtns & other rural/wild areas). It is my hope that we can educate them before it is too late.

Keep up the great work here (I love your blog!)Ginahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10788740577135090145noreply@blogger.com
